HARVEST MOON FESTIVAL  – our annual celebration of harvest.
Harvest Moon (the full moon closest to the Fall equinox).

Full Moons are traditionally given names according to the season in which they fall, and this will be the first full moon of autumn 2016, traditionally called the Harvest Moon.

This romantic evening begins at the winery where you, the Harvest Moon Festival goer, arrives with blanket in hand and pick up your “tote” of goodies.  This includes a bottle of wine, sausage, cheese, loaves of freshly baked French bread, two logo wine glasses, a sweet treat, corkscrew, and a knife. The first order of business is to pick out the bottle of wine.  Then, stroll to where the wagons load to take people on the leisurely ride to the vineyard under the rising moon.

At the vineyard, there are two bands playing from from 6:00 to Midnight.  Find your spot, throw down your blanket, rest your back against a hay bale, pop the cork, relax and enjoy the evening –  music, wine, food and the vineyard.  There is a pot of Chili (meat and meatless versions) for you to enjoy when the munchies hit during the evening.  It is a night of wonderful music in the vineyard lit by the moon, a bonfire and tiki torches.  Enjoy the music, food, and wine in the glow of a moonlit vineyard setting.  A shuttle returns you to the winery.
